Signature Global Engineering Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to achieving the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance across our engineering, construction, energy, real estate, manufacturing, and consulting activities. We believe all incidents are preventable and that a strong safety culture is essential to operational excellence.
We conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), method statements, and site-specific risk assessments before work begins and whenever conditions change. Controls follow the hierarchy of elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Personnel receive role-appropriate induction and recurrent training covering site rules, safe equipment use, emergency procedures, and task-specific risks. Only competent and authorized personnel may operate plant and equipment.
We provide appropriate PPE based on assessed risks (e.g., helmets, safety footwear, eye and hearing protection, high-visibility clothing, gloves, respiratory protection). PPE must be used, maintained, and replaced in accordance with manufacturer guidance and site rules.
All incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions must be reported immediately. We investigate to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions, sharing lessons learned across projects.
Sites and facilities maintain documented emergency response plans, muster points, first-aid provisions, firefighting equipment, and communication protocols. Drills are conducted periodically.
We assess HSE competence during selection and require contractors and suppliers to comply with our policy and site rules. We coordinate activities, conduct toolbox talks, and monitor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
All equipment and vehicles must be properly selected, inspected, maintained, and used in accordance with legal requirements and manufacturer instructions. Defective items are to be tagged out and removed from service.
We strive to minimize noise, dust, emissions, and waste; use materials efficiently; and prevent spills and releases. We respect local communities and take reasonable steps to reduce disruptions.
Workers must be fit for duty. The use of drugs or alcohol that may impair performance or compromise safety is strictly prohibited on sites and in company operations.
We monitor HSE performance through inspections, audits, and key performance indicators, and we review this policy regularly to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with best practices.
This policy is communicated to all employees and made available to contractors, clients, and the public. We encourage feedback to strengthen our safety culture.
